Title: Lingual technique overview for traction of impacted maxillary canines with bone anchorage
 
Introduction: The possibility to consider tractions with bone anchorage are highly recommended in lingual orthodontics thanks to the palatal surface just beside.
Methods and Material: Four different tractions with bone anchorage are explained from the classical miniscrew to a ballista spring.
Results and Discussions: The choice of the technique used for the traction should be guided by different points, such as the strength of anchorage needed for the traction, the compliance of the patients etc…
Conclusion: The bone anchorage techniques provide very high efficiency in traction of maxillary canines without putting a strain on the surrounding teeth, whilst reducing the side effects.
