Title: The Anboini System: Multi-slotted Lingual Bracket and Preformed Lingual Straight Archwire

Chairman, Department of Orthodontics, Chong-A Dental Hospital, Seoul, Korea

For 25 years, we have used Fujita multi-slotted lingual brackets and its associated mushroom archwires. By the change of the time, however, the concept of the straight archwire also came into request in lingual orthodontics, which could not keep up with the Fujita lingual bracket. Therefore, we have developed a smart lingual orthodontic system “Anboini” which combines multi-slotted lingual brackets and comprehensive line of preformed lingual straight archwires. After 36 months of clinical testing and more than 200 cases, we reached this conclusion. The multi-slotted bracket is clearly indicated over single-slotted designs for lingual orthodontic treatment, helping orthodontists achieve board-standard finishes. A series of preformed straight archwires also helps orthodontists make the treatment more convenient.

In this lecture, lingual orthodontic treatment using the Anboini system will be done in detail.
